Ed Hoyt
As Calroy’s CEO, Ed Hoyt brings more than 3 decades of experience as a successful business leader in the nutraceutical industry.
Prior to Calroy, Ed co-founded and led a nutraceutical company that served thousands of healthcare practitioners worldwide. Its many first-in-class nutritional products were used by professional athletes and consumers alike. Through his role at Calroy Ed is continuing to pursue his personal mission – “to enrich the quality of life of people worldwide.”
Andie Crosby
Andie Crosby has over 30 years’ marketing and business development experience working with iconic brands such as Nike, Apple, Gap, Proctor & Gamble and magazines such as Rolling Stone, Glamour, and Vanity Fair. In 2010, her personal interest in health and wellness converged with an opportunity to build and lead the first marketing team at The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). She was the driving force behind a 13x increase in the number of clinicians trained by IFM and a resulting surge in awareness and demand for functional medicine amongst both patients and practitioners. She went on to run the Strategic Partnerships and Innovations team working across the ecosystem to create and nurture alliances to further the adoption of functional medicine.
Chen Chen, PhD
Dr. Chen Chen is a widely respected scientist and entrepreneur. He held an undergraduate degree in Food Science and a graduate degree in Business Management before earning his MS and PhD degrees in Nutritional Science. He has worked in the food, nutritional, and pharmaceutical industries for over 30 years.
Early in his professional career Dr. Chen conducted research on human metabolism and the development of chronic degenerative diseases. He worked for a pharmaceutical company to develop product, formulation, and technology while serving as an adjunct faculty in the School of Health and Human Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
